So much can be done to make our government work better for all of us. That is why I want to continue to serve as your state senator.

My experience working on Montana’s state budget shows me that our fiscal policies can better reflect our values and priorities. Fiscal policies must value workers, senior citizens and children; must ensure they get quality medical care, education and an environment they can enjoy; and must ask everyone to contribute their fair share.

Health care is a top concern. I have sponsored nearly a dozen bills to reform the system. I favor bold, comprehensive solutions that create a new debate and help move and improve other bills. That is how I like to work.

I will continue to challenge the state to put its resources into conservation and renewable energy, rather than rely on outdated, polluting technologies.

I want to continue to work on your behalf, with the belief that together we can change the world we live in so that justice, fairness, and opportunity are available to all. I believe the people, through their governments, can set the rules in a way that works for all of us. That is why I continue to serve and ask for your support.
